Poll: Web Design

Hi, can someone of you guys give me your opinion on these two web designs? It's for my business and i can't decide between the both of them. There's pro's and con's on both of them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Which design do you think has a been first impression? Would you buy a computer after just viewing the first page?

I like the 1st one better... the 2nd one looks too much like a DELL site... the 1st looks like it has the potential to look more professional... the 2nd is like a cart site for walmart or something...

2nd one is much better. The colors mesh well while in the first one, most of the text is too bright and those rounded buttons on the side just do not match the layout. I'm a big fan of gray-ish colors (look at my site for instance), so you can see why I prefer the 2nd design.

It depends who?s the site targeting, is it the business computer market or the persenol computer industries,

The first one I would say is more for the home market and makes the site look like a modern site,the second looks more like a business site layout more professional.

thanks for the input guys.

The market is just for personal use. I will be selling conventional desktops, gaming pcs, and micro/LAN party pcs.

The first one looks like just a plain design, it doesn't look like a business site. The second one looks more like a business but i think it's just too much like golden said it looks like a DELL site.

I prefer the second one. The first one just doesn't do it for me and the second one looks like it has a reliable company behind it.

More visible text, a background color other than white (try leaning towards a darker white or go with a texture), and matching navigation buttons.

^True. I mean if you got some corporation going... go for the 2nd one. But, in the end we're just opinions... it's whatever you TRULY want!
