Is it just me, or is shipping more expensive during the upcoming holidays.
I sold a premod PS2 for 340.00CDN
PS2 Cost: $250.00CDN
MagicV 50K Cost: $50.00CDN
Shipping Cost: $49.25CDN
so basically I made nothing, my normal install fee is $50.00 CDN
I am so pissed off about this.
Anyone ever had something like this happen?

Doesnt the buyer usually pay for shipping?
<FreeFrag> The most secure computer in the world is one not connected to the internet.
<FreeFrag> Thats why I recommend Telstra ADSL.

that is the danger when offering free shipping - my margins and quantities are not high enough to cover such deals.
they are with chips but not with entire stations... they weigh to much.

yeah i am not offering 2-3 day in my shipping prices now, I am offering ground shipping in my prices which is usually around $22 CDN for an XBOX.
Such bullshit I think
Solderless Mods and Flip tops are like tampons, every pussy needs one!

why in the world did you offer free shipping? whether or not it's a ps2 doesnt matter, it's an item with some weight to it, that if the person buying it wants it shipped, they should cover the costs themselves.
i made the mistake of offering to cover the shipping once on something i sold to a guy on another forum a couple years back. unfortunately i was dumb and didnt bother to take into account how much it MIGHT cost to ship, and as it turned out the guy lived on the opposite end of the us and i actually ended up losing like $1.
ever since, that i've considered it like this. someone wants to buy something from me. they dont want to come pick it up so they want it shipped. they can pay for the shipping and i'll ship it however they want, as long as they're paying for every dime. just the same as the grocery store doesnt pay for my guess when i drive there to shop.
