PayPal Class Action Suit

Looks like they one, and all of us who have been screwed out of our money by PayPals disregard towards the law, can seek retribution. There is a fund of $9.6 Million , so better file a claim by November to get your share. This is only for accounts and transactions before February and reaching back to 1999. You should receive an Email regarding this from PayPal if you are elidgable.

man I hope they get them GOOD paypal sucks major ass, bunch of bullies, all they know how to do is wait till someone has serious $$ then freeze an account, and spend it for their own financial gain! I'm glad someone is finally setting up them

I'd like to be the lawyer for this - 1/3 of the total action. Not bad, not bad. Each individual gets like, what $1 - bah. I've never actually had a problem with PayPal. Oh well, might as well fill it out anyways.

Ya, i totally agree. Just a bunch of lawyers gonna get rich what the victims get shit. But, might as well get as much of the pie as we can.

yeah i got like 5 accounts the bastards frozze gay paypal i no longer use them crooks they would freeze the account just cause i add a bank and try to w/d i should file on ever account i had locked for all my troubles and haveing to bank hoop to get all the accounts

ha - yep I got the email - problem is I have no claim...

Only opened the account with them to receive $20 US for filling in a survey... then never collected...

But if you read it close they never claimed responsibility, they also suggested that out of that money offered for damages they will take out their own admin and other expenses, like notifying claimants, lawyers fees etc, that probably means in actual fact they are only going to offer 1 million to those that have legit claims the rest will stay in their own back pocket as most judges are to stupid to realise that sending out mass emails does not cost them stuff all.

I think those with big losses will get 10 cents for every dollar they actually lost if that. And nothing for potential loss or damages directly resulting from pay pals actions.

Quite frankly I think no one will get anything as so many people with no real claims will fill in the form and clutter up the process to the point where Pay pal will claim it is to hard and use up 100% of the fund to cover their own supposed expenses.

I'm not gonna file claim but anyone who did...report back and tell us how much all got...and...be serious...don't make up some # just to make ya look good....be truthful even if it's just a couple of dollar or cents....I didn't claim because i haven't been ripped yet....

I can't say that I have ever had my account frozen either. I hate paypal for their poor claims process, but don't think that I can get anything for that. I am also worried that I will actually have problems, if I just try to do a claim, even though I haven't had a whole lot of trouble.
