About LinkBacksCan some set top DVD players convert PAL to NTSC?
I recently went to China and came back with a few movies. They all played fine in my DVD player.
Now I am back at school and 2 of the DVDs I bought won?t play in my ps2. It gives some error about the tv. I poped the DVDs into my PC and saw that they were PAL. My friends DVD player will play them on my tv but my ps2 wont.
Is my friends DVD player and my DVD player back home auto converting to NTSC? One is a regent and the other is a Daewoo.

09-19-2005,01:19 AMYeah, alot of DVD players will convert a PAL signal to NTSC. The PS2, unfortunately, isn't one of them. To find out which ones will play what try here...
