Yup Win98 and lower only supports FAT32 unless you have any Windows NT business OS.
-US Nintendo Wii unmodded (waiting for modchip and install)
    -US Playstation 2 v15 SCPH-77001 w/Crystal Chip Pro 2.0

YOu can keep your Win98SE and still rip games over 4GB--I do it with mine. You just need to use a proggie that will split the image into smaller files. Alot of burners come with RecordNow Products. These are full-fledged burning utilities--copying, create data/music CDs--some will even do Video CD's from MPG files. While imaging a DVD to the Hard Drive, they split the file automatically if you are using FAT32. If your burner doesn't come with a RecordNow product, you can find some copies on-line at the warez sites if you do a search on "DVD-R Recording Software" you're bound to get some hits for Primo and RNM.

Of course, if all you're really looking for is a good duping program, nab DVDDecrypter. ( www.dvddecrypter.com ) It's a total freebie and you can put it in ISO-Read mode to create the image to your hard drive (set it to split the file into 2GB chunks), and then put it in ISO-Write mode and load the descriptor file (it will remember where it put it) and it will stitch the multiple files back together as it burns it.

Both programs are no brainers--just image to hard drive, then burn the image to DVD-R and you are done.

    Good Luck!

    Raist
If it ain't broke don't try to fix it! But, hell if you can tweak that bastard just a little bit more....hehehe.
