Isn't is quite obvious by now that if you are on CFW you will not be able to get online? Isn't this a good thing? Don't you think online games would be ruined because of a handful of cheaters?

I'm sorry, but if you got into this scene for the free games, then you've done it for the wrong reasons. I'm not making a morality judgement. I don't care if you pirate. It doesn't affect me. What I'm saying is that if that's all it is to you, then you are setting yourself up for dissappointment.

I bought a PS3 in January when I read about the signing keys being leaked. Since then I've installed all kinds of this and that, tweaked the menu, played some emulators, and yes did a little of piracy as well. The difference is that I get enjoyment out of merely tinkering and doing these things. I never intended to play online (I have an XBox for that). I'm having all kinds of fun with my PS3 now because the free games were never a big part of it.

That's why the PS3 has bans.

Sony knew someday they would get hacked and that is why they made a ban system. (it's pretty much impossible to get banned without cheating unless you did gamesharing, like me)

it'll pretty much be like xbox live which is fun when someone with a Jtag comes along and makes your usual game into everyone has a pistol that shoots rocket grenades.

Also I have yet to see a cheater online that had a complete and utter advantage.

but i think patience is good i saw in the front page that there is a way to downgrade from 3.70 atleast a step forward i hope there will be a way for online sooooon
