News threads....

maybe i'm not at place to say, but all of the news threads being closed because of dumb stuff is starting to tick me off.....why not just nuke all the posts and let the thread restart, once those threads are closed the discussion seems to end, and i like to hear the review/results/tests/updates/discussion of quality/etc...

Yea, it's a bunch of shit...Why even close some of these threads in the first place? When, the majority of them could jsut be edited a few spots?
Even as far as people getting angry about something..As long as it doesn't get out of hand...I Don't see what it's hurting the mod, or people at ps2newz (i enjoy a good argument

agreed, now I don't know the story about the ****** chip, but it is censored, I donno if those guys and guichi don't get along or what, but its not cool. Fooniman was banned over this, although he did have fair warning and should have stfu lol but still...

even so banning him was harsh; fooniman's given a lot to ps2newz and he's one of the members I respect.

yeh I like him to, he is a good member and I talk to him on IRC from time to time. He shouldn't have been banned, but if he didn't want to be banned he would have listened to guichi.

Can you blame the guy for going to ownz? He got banned from the best ps2 forum. Kinda weird cause usually ownz members end up here....

hehe true, he just wants to be a mod, but thats the way it is when your younger, Z has offered me supermod positions several times, I always tell him which part of my body he can suck

Yeah I know what you mean. He's my age. But even still I wouldn't join ownz to be a mod. But then again I did join a forum that Anima created to be an admin but that ended up as a bust....

I wish Fooni's ban was lifted but I don't think Guichi is one to about face on his decision.

too bad everything can't be like the "good old days" lol when I first joined here it was just the best members....like tityz and charlie guichi and balto, dwd 2tru, gaz, d0od, necro, the list goes on, but those were some good times. none of this censorship was necessary, cuz we all left a place that banned us for saying "modchip" or sticking up for a friend, necro still owes me for that btw

none of those people are left now

and the few that are aren't exactly sane :-/
