need help to buy lcd monitor for ps3

Hi All,

I am delighted to be a member of this wonderful community. As a matter of fact, I am a bit tight on budget. and furthermore, my PC moniotr died because of a stupid short circuit. So now i am stuck.

Now i want a monitor which can play PS3 via HDMI and has a great contrast ratio, fast response time and full HD.

My budget is ~$320 and i live in India. Can you please help me choose a good monitor?

I narrowed down to LG M237WA but i heard from a friend that the gaming experience on it is not that great.

Would appreciate if you can help me so that i can start playing my ps3 at the earliest.

I personally use a BenQ monitor on my PC (Model no E2200HD).

It's great for PC gaming, and I have also plugged my PS3 into it to test stuff out. Games look great and run great on the monitor. It has a HDMI connection, which is what you want. My only criticism is the built in speakers kinda suck, but I believe there is a headphone jack on the monitor. I just haven't needed to use it so never bothered to look.

hmmmm...tx for the advice mate. it is not available in my region. any other monitor??

The BenQ site says it is available in India.

The only shopping result I could find didn't have any in stock though... >_< Someone else might be able to suggest another monitor. I'll check what my g/f has on her PC, cos that's a pretty decent gaming monitor too.

yes. i just saw it. totally skipped me. but i am looking for a 23-24" one. suggestions mate? it gives me great pains not to play any games. :sad

It's FULL HD one

And with LED LCD!
This monitor has two hmdi in connections, one vga in and a audio out connection

yes it does matter.. also look for 1080p hd tvs they present a better quiality.. and bdw yes there are some good quality lg models out there not all makes are good.. it's all down to their individual specs

the whole pain in the rear is that my budget is only upto $320. i can stretch it to max $350 and not beyong that in any case.
