Need feedback on my new site

This is a Game News, Reviews, Previews, Podcast, Tips and Strategies.
I have been working on this site for about over month now.
It is still in the Alpha stage and has tons of bugs to be fixed and content and code to add.
We are in the need of Writers, Reviewers, Editors, Marketing(people who can advertise and get the word out for our site) web coder, designer, and people to interview to talk with in podcast.
Please if you are interested please post. all you have to have is an interested in video games.
If you have any suggestions or comments please I need feedback.

I really like the layout and design. I especially like that I don't see any flash, just jquery!

The articles will need rewritten though. I don't know if these are just placeholders for real reviews but they aren't written professionally. There are some standards that I don't know about that you should look into if you are going to write them yourself. For example, you aren't supposed to talk about yourself in a review. Leave yourself out of it. Try not to use the word "I". Remember, the reader doesn't care what you think, they want to know "how will I like this game".

Use phrases like:
"If you are the type of gamer that _____, this game should be blah blah blah."
"Blah blah game has really changed the game with their latest release. Blah blah"

I'm not an editor so maybe someone else can give you more tips on that area.

agreed. your right i should work on that. I'm pretty new to writing reviews, so ill get used to the format in time. of course the site is in complete alpha so im not too worried about grammar and professional writing as of now. thats why im allowing members of our team to write articles and reviews to really get used to the format and get accustom to it so they will write even better in the future when this site is coming out of its beta stage. If you are interested i would love if you would join the team. i can make you an editor and you can write just about anything to do with games. we need it right now.
