As a childhood victim of sexual abuse by a close family member, I can honestly say that I am extremely disturbed by the casualization of my and many others 'experience'. The fact that it has somehow become a subject of dark humor is horrifying. Being forced to do something painful and humiliating, repeatedly, is not funny. Having the entire structure of your family fall apart is not funny. Feeling like you can't trust anyone and struggling to make friends isn't funny. Being afraid of sex well into adulthood, even with people you love and are attracted to is not funny. No amount of therapy or empathy will ever change the fact that my childhood was ruined and I will spend the rest of my life a stunted man.

I'm a firm believer in freedom of speech so I'm not going to demand you remove that picture, but if you give a shit about anybody else besides yourself and your 'precious sense of humor', you should probably pull your ****ing head out of the gutter and come to terms with the fact that the internet is full of a diversity of people with many different life experiences, both negative and positive.
