Must own DS

Well, heres another DS related topic from me.

Since I have a job at college next semester which will allow me to feed myself (well actually beer myself, food is second place) I've decided I should blow my summer work money. I've already bought New Super Mario Brothers (though I don't actually have a DS yet), and plan to be Sonic Rush and Super Princess Peach.
Just curious as to some other must own DS games. I've given consideration to Brain Age, and the Metroid game (can't recall the name, Hunters I think it is). Other than that I'm not sure. Imports are welcome to be placed on must own lists.

Mario Kart DS! I just love the Kart series...always tons of fun.

I second the vote for Mario Kart. I'd hold off of Metroid until you've played the demo, though. I found it too hard to control with the stylus. If you're into the old-school stuff, I also recommend Castlevania. :P

I played Metroid for a bit in Walmart. I never did come across anything though. I just kept running around an empty building. You're right though, the controls were a bit hard.
I love old school stuff. The death of 2D is a terrible thing.
