Anyone psyched up about the upcoming NA release of FFXI for the ps2? i really enjoyed the beta but i am not so sure about the $13/mo. ive been burned before on monthly fees for MMORPGS and it really turns me off.. I signed up for the World of Warcraft beta, but I would also doubt playing this in retail either.

I am currently working on getting another GBA so that I can play Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles with my fiancee. The gameplay is simple and I am really looking to multiplayer in this game. Secret of Mana is one of my all time favorites, obviously, and I have heard that the multiplayer mode is comparable.

Along the MMORPG cost issue, I have found a pretty sweet looking game in the works that is being made by a bunch of ex-blizzard folks and promises NO MONTHLY FEES!! It's called Guild Wars and hopefully they will be able to upset the tradition of the MMORPG monthly fee..

Arrrrrrrr, I've heard that name "Guild Wars" before there BGnome. Personally I would loves ta have time to devote to MMOG of any sort...saddly I d'not. So I'll keep to the realm of 1-4 plyr games. Right now the wife and I are really digging BGII. Planning on getting Fallout and Champions of Norath...anybody got any comments on those there 2 games???

I beat BG2...It's alright.
Fallout is about as good as Baldurs Gate, but haven't got the chance to beat it yet (been playing a couple GC games for now).
Champions of Norrath I heard is way better than BG2.
