msn being naughty

msn is being a right pain in the ass, i was wondering if anyone had any ideas how to make it work, i can't sign in. i open it up, and it immeatiatly starts signing in, but it never stops, i say cancel sign in, and it keeps signing in, the only way to stop it is to exit, but that dosen't help, coz when i open again i'm back to the never ending sign in.
i dunno if anyone even cares, but hey, its worth a shot

Some People care in here, but sorry I don't use any "instant messengers" (if you're talking about that). It could be some sort of connection problem like a firewall or installation problem.

Is the time on your computer right? I know it doesn't let me sign in if the tim on my computer is wrong.

have you tried calling thier customer support? they're very helpfull, they even helped my moms husband fix thier computer when he accidently spit some meat into it, it didn't have anything to do with MSN but they still helped them fix it.

Did you have MSN set to auto-login???? Are you talking about ISP, Messanger, or Email???? Auto login is ALWAYS a BAD idea...much easier for theives to steel yer password and ID since it is cached in your PC if ya do that. arrrr so it is. Here are a few things ye may want to try on your varmit there matey.

Re-boot - totally shut down all the way power off and back on again

Uninstall/re-install MSN (if it's the messanger)

Check for viruses and trojan horses on yer PC
