if the riaa starts to go after hundreds of people i think the people who are going to be the angriest are the ISPs becuse they are losing thier best costumers who probably pay alot for a high upload speed if they are sharing 1000+ files. Maybe the ISPs will start to refuse to give away the info or else not many will be interested in broadband What im saying is if the ISPs refuse to give out who owns that certain ip address than the RIAA is screwed ALSO im sure the RIAA is using propietiry software to find the ip address in the first place so if kazza creaters Sharman Networks put a feature to block that than again we the downloadeers win. Think of it as the RIAA being the modchip and Kazaa being the console that hasent been cracked yet.
Why should your ISP give out your information to the RIAA at all? It's not like they're some sort of agency like the FBI. And couldn't using a proprietary software that obtains your IP address be considered hacking?
