WTF?? 12 X 10? NTSC TV only uses around 500 scan lines. DVD is only 7 X 5....why so high dude? Gotta be one high-assed bit rate there!

    hehe

Where did he say that he was playing it on a tv?

I would probably just try to reinstall the codec.. I've had lots of different problems with xvid but when I've reinstalled the codec it worked fine.

There's a registry key for that, look for HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\System\Current Control Set\Services\XViD\PissOffFlynMonkeez=1 and change that to a 0.

    Hehe.

    Please don't hurt me.

did you ever get it fixed?!

my brother had the same problem, he fresh installed the codec then attempted to watch the movie, it was upside-down, so I told him to reboot, and it worked. It now plays just fine
