You know, there are times that you are so full of shit that one would suspect your eyes are brown.
Their language and culture are far from dead, and as you so deftly backpedaled, their language was used during WWII and the code they developed is still regarded as Secret by the govenment in case its ever needed again. The elders still teach the young the language and traditions and Mr. Hillerman is a very revered author throughout the area for introducing and keeping the Navajo culture alive in mainstream mystery fiction.
LOL One might get the impression that English is a dead language from the way you use it...

I never said it was fully dead. I said it was passed on, mainly for traditions sake. To say Im full of shit is BS. ALl Im arguing is that it would be Impossible to find a non either Spanish or English Speaking Navajo person in the Late 1960's, because they did not exist.
**** you too Krikor, I have this information because my mother is big into the Navajo culture, we go to the reservations frequently. I am not saying there arent speakers, and I already made the point that it was used in World War 2. All I am saying is that All People that spoke Navajo at the Time of the Moon Missions would also speak other languages, it would be pretty much impossible to find a person like that.
WTF, now ur twisting my words ! I never even mentioned their Culture. Their culture is far from dead. Dont stuff words into my god damn mouth!
PS, screw you, you English Major.
Just so you know I know proper English. I before E except after C, with some exceptions. I dont end sentences with prepositions, and I can spell, just that this forum is not my English Homeowrk and Im typing fast.

That's a good one. But honestly I don't like the reality of the natives of The New World. (can you imagine if no one didn't invade in the term of war, other countries back then. Probably I wouldn't be alive or in some where else, because of my backgrounds).

You know, I post a little funny joke and you pop up and feel compelled to start making multiple social comentaries that had absolutely nothing to do with the anecdote, like some frickin' Mr. Know-it-all.
Well, screw you too, nec. Keep this kind of shit up and I just may give myself a Christmas present - - booting your ass outta here once and for all...
