It was great to watch, and brought back memories of MK1, when I was that age and had that haircut

You should be really pround of him, he seems like a great kid! He did a great interview with you, too! Thanks for the gameplay videos as well!

He also seems like a great competitor, ruthless, yet he will let you think you stood a chance, like that video of you vs him as Jonhy Cade and Reptile He won 3 straight, and you went for the rematch? You know he was just messing with you letting you get those two rounds in the second match

Also, props to you Alex for the way you raise you kid. Supporting video games, I wish my dad did that, like how you do. I mean, I was playing mortal kombat at his age too, and some of my best video game memories include mortal kombat and an arcade somewhere. But the support is great to see. It really is inspiring.

Glad to see you let him play a game where you are a marial artist, in a fantasy world... and not game like GTA, where you are a criminal, in the real world. They got his whole policatlly correct thing backwards nowadays. You can not look a blood, but they show sex all over TV, and constanly force their opinion of beauty upon us... totally backwards. Just gives us more labels...

You two have inspired me to get back into games. I have been in a gaming rut for awhile now, and yesterday I started to break free Beat RDR, and plan on picking up the controllor for MK again.

My very first screen name, on AOL way back in the days, was MKRuler!!! Thanks for sharing an MKGOD with us!!!!

Haha, yes he is, but that ruthlessness i have thought him, along with satying humble when the match ends. is a great and hard balance to maintain, but he has done great so far
Not to take anything away from him, but i really am out of practice, running a business is very time consuming, and leaves me with hardly anytime
but that does not take anything away from him, as he did real good for his first outing

My goal is to make him better than me, and trust me, when i practice, i aint no scrub lol
but i have to put in the time for my old ass to ramain focused lol

and yeah, just like i said in the interview, theres a balance you must maintain when it come to exposing your brood to certain things.

i will continue this path till he doesnt want to anymore, but at this rate, it dont seem like it will lol
but he knows that all his hard work is paying off, as i have been in contact with some members of nrs for a possible meet and greet with them, and that would mean the world to him

I have a very vivid memory of some one beating me at UMK3 in this big arcade at another city, along time ago. You see, by the time that game had rolled around... I was playing MK, MK2, and MK3... so I was pretty good. I was amazed that he was able to stop my Cyrax... no one had been able to stop it at my local arcade. One of the best matches I ever played, and it only cost a quarter!

MK is like riding a bike for us guys. We still no how to kick some butt. My advice would be to stay our of the corners. AJ torn you up when you hit the side on the stage.

I remeber I used to take a cheat sheet to the arcade, and spend tons of money trying out characters, and moves, and fatalities, and etc-ties, etc, etc. And then I started adding combos to the list too. I would fit it all onto one sheet, very very tiny print, and even sell them at the arcade for a few extra tokens when I was running low. But that I a good way to practice. To kollectors guide comes with cards, not everyones', that have all the moves, combos, fatalities.

I am still getting back into gaming... still have not picked up the controller since I beat RDR the other day... but I am antcipating the release of Dark Souls, so I know I better start getting back in the habbit

And yeah, I just made a YouTube account the other day. Expect mrthousand to follow!
