Mirc problems

Can some one help me i cnat even get on im startin to hate this thing

if you wanna join ps2newz then heres how ya do it:

download an IRC client, the easiest should be mIRC www.mIRC.com (you probably already have it :))

load it up, and go to file > options > connect > ident

check Enable Identd server
choose an ID that will identify you, most people just put their nicks. System: doesnt matter, Port: 113

then at the window type:

/server irc.secsup.com:6667

that is a popular fast server, but here are some others:

irc.arcti.ca:6667 (great for canadians :))
irc.vuurwerk.nl:6667
irc.demon.co.uk:6667
irc.easynews.com:6667
irc.qeast.net:6667

once you're on a server, type:

/join #ps2newz

and you should be in there with us :)

it gives me a unable to connect (connection timed out) sign

ok im on now bu ti cant seem to connect to the /server irc.secsup.com:6667 dood can i just add u to my aol im so we can communicate better????????????

i dont have aol, lol

/server irc.blessed.net:6667
/server irc.choopa.net:6667

im usually on blessed or arcti..

are you behind a firewall?
