Microsoft works

Damnit...I sware, whenever you get a new computer...It's always missing shit that your old crappy one had!!! Anyways, I had my list of games on a WPS (microsoft works) on my old computer. I thought "Well, shit...If I save it a disc, and put it on my New computer it'll surely work fine!" I opened it up, saved the files to my computer, but my damn computer don't have Microsoft Works!!!! I do have a list on a txt document that I can see of course, but those are crap. I always print out a list every so often to put it in my cabinet, and I can look through to see what game I wanna play. Don't wanna look at some crappy, long, .txt list.
I tried to d/l a trial or something of Microsoft works...Only to find out I CANNOT FIND ONE!!! Everything is "buy microsoft works 7.0" Those bastards....

Any1 know how I can get it without buying the damn thing? I tried searching around, but I can't really find anything.

Hmm, not sure if you tried to search for Microsoft works, word, office on that Necrolop, but the search is mentally retarded....Most of them don't work, or aren't complete. I did get a couple Works to say "You need wkslang.dll to run this program" or some shit....I searched all over for the .dll file, but of course I COULDN'T FIND IT....
Could somebody with Works send it to me?

You dont need to get it...

Just open up the file in notepad, and get rid of all the crazy-shit formatting (should be a bunch of squares) then copy it into a new word file or whichever one you're using.

That kind of don't work....Basically, I d/led it off Kazaa...it says that i'm missing the DLL (Can't get it installed)...I tried what you said, but it is absolutely HUGE with lots of those squares from start to finish....Theres not a group of squares just like 8***747843

I did find a site that you can download .dll off of, and the damn thing still didn't work! I got the dll it said I was missing...Then I was missing another one....Then another....Until I couldn't find them all LOL.
I'll search for a better d/l later...It's not a huge deal to get it open right now, but i'd like too.

my computer came with the works cd (dont have it installed tho) but if u want u can send me the list and i can install works and save it as word format or sumtin.

Thanks for the offer, but I kind of need it on something like Microsoft Works. Cuz I have it numbered, and whenever I add a game...Of course the number comes with it (making it right), it's small (So I dont have to print out to many damn pages)...I have ALL the games saved on a .txt document, but if I were to print it...It'd probaly be like 20 pages!!!! It's like 4-5 on Works...

Hmm...Let me take that back....I finally found out that my computer does have WordPerfect 10 (substitute for Works I guess...Just better, and more up to date) it still won't open WPS tho! if you still will FlynMonkeez...Give me your email address..I'll send you my list, and you could just copy and paste it for me...

I could just copy my .txt list, paste it on WordPerfect...But theres still kind of a problem. The Numbering! I got like 375 games (originals LOL

), and whenever I copy, and paste all my games on there using the list (list the games in numerical order) the bastard only says "1". Cuz, it thinks I only pasted 1 game...I could go back and hit enter, then backspace for all the games, but that's way to much damn work! Anyways, LMK.

EDIT: LOL...Let me take that back AGAIN

...I figured out a somewhat easier way to do it...Took me a good 45 minutes, but I finally got my list saved in wordperfect (had to do practically all the numbers manually...I found an easier way tho).
