    damn that'll suck.

either it'll get quite quickly cracked, or it'll not happen for a very long time.

    Oh the irony.
Someone posting about a "new amazing technology that'll prevent software piracy" on a site dedicated to getting around/breaking that exact type of thing.

Why wouldn't you sweat it.....?????? Isn't this going to destroy the modchip biz for Xbox 2?

its going to do a lot more harm than that if this can't get patched.. and this will also be in the hardware making it theoretically hack-proof.. it will also keep u from opening any mp3, text file, movie, or anything that u didn't make urself or buy. at least thats what i understand

well in my opinion their are two outcomes to this problem and both will result in US the consumers winning. First the software will be easily cracked when i say easliy i tell you to take a look at some examples such as xbox cracked by colledge student, and windows xp cracked 3 hours after release (that still makes me laugh like crazy ) but if the operating system protection is being based online MANY people and i mean MANY will be pissed off and alas the end of windows cuz compiteters will start making their own operating systems that will respect your privacy and definetly run better Hopefully your windows pc will finally be in heaven by running operating systems such as Lindows which has great potential but not many know about it and if this protection occurs then Companies like Lindows will convince users to switch to lindows

Well, I'm just concerned with Xbox. I hope Xbox 2 is able to be cracked. PS3 seems crack-resistant too with its blu-ray discs and all.
