leave the conspiracy and paranoia nuts alone. it's better they worry about one cow, than actual problems around the world and come up with crap like the us government used alien technology discovered in roswell and researched in area 51 to cause the earthquake in iran or something else just as ridiculous.
and losing your appetite over that ridiculous shit entitty spewed? since when the hell do bones get mixed in with ground beef? that would be like eating gravel for ****s sake. that right there is a huge clue that he's full of crap. and yes they do use lips and tongue and crap, but you cant get mad cow disease from that anyway. it's illegal for meat processing plants to use brain or spinal tissue in the us in products like that, and has been for years. and buying a slab of ground beef at the grocery store(or most places) wont including any lips or crap like that anyway since retail outlets that grind their own beef usually dont even get those parts to begin with. most of the time they're just using the crappiest cuts of meat from the sides of beef they get shipped in, that wont sell if just packaged on the shelf. and the most common filler material found in restaraunt hamburgers is crap like oats and grains anyway.
you're not gonna get brain or bone bits in your hamburger meat from safeway. hell, you would have to go out of your way to try and get some madcow tainted beef.
bones in ground beef.. pfft.
edit: come to think of it, that strangely sounds like the typical PETA scare tactic crap. where they find the nastiest farms and slaughterhouses they possibly can, that havent seen a government inspector in years, that might not even be located anywhere near the us.
and another thing, if you know a GOOD butcher, their ground beef is usually the scraps from the standing rib roasts, tenderloins, and other various cuts that they had leftover when they trimmed it. hardly the bones and eyeballs some would have you believe...
besides, why would any large meat processing plants risk the public backlash if that were true? that could ruin them as a business. when instead they can sell that shit to petfood companies to get mixed in with chunks of lard and be labeled as "dog food".
