I can't remember what it was called, but I remember it being mentioned in a news article at ScienceBlog.com | Science news straight from the source about some old document or book or something that baffled scientists, mathematicians, linguists, and whoever else. It was very old, and they keep looking at it and thinking it couldn't possibly just be nonsensical writing because it seems as if it were very specific with pictures and writing or whatever stuff. Nobody has found a pattern or anything to the writing to this day as far as I know. I only went back as far as April 29 hoping to find the headline for the article at ScienceBlog.com | Science news straight from the source.
Any chance anybody has a clue of what it was called or something about it? It was something famous. Google sucked for help big time since everything seems to baffle scientists according to them.

You said an old text, so this is probably not it. But you also said it had a lot of pictures, so take a look at this anyway: Codex Seraphinianus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

That isn't it. I don't remember if it was known who wrote it or how old it was. I was kind of assuming they didn't know who wrote it, but it was probably a very long time ago before writing systems were developed or something like that.

Perfect! You found it. I kept trying with Google and it always gave me news articles from years ago.

I love stuff like this, reminds me of some of the stuff they show on the History channel's Ancient Aliens program. Pretty interesting stuff!
