I dont want to go offtopic but..

Isnt it weird that new systems die after a few years? I mean RROD, YLOD, dead bluraydrives
My PS2 is still workin like a charm (bought in 2003)
I had an old SNES - never had problems with it (well, i lost it somehow lol)

i could go on with many other examples but i think you know what i mean
thats kinda weird because you pay shittons of money and they die a few years later

do you remember when you could play Mario Kart on 4xSplitscreen for hours without overheating or punch your frieds balls in Streetfighter without shitting in your pants because the console fell down from a small board? you didnt have to care about copyprotected savegames and errormessages
Now you have to buy a code (which can be activated only one time) if you want to play online but there is no splitcreen on tv monitors 10 times bigger than in the 90s

thats whats pissing me of with the "nextgen consoles" (and games)

ok lets go back to topic :P

maybe you can give it to a repairservice
a friend of mine fixed his bluray drive there for ~30€/40$/£25 ...

If were getting a dam game system to play games then why is it failing!!!

i can throw my N64 in a boiling pot of water and it will still play if not better than before. i tried this to because it had so much dust build up it wouldn't play for days at a time. i bet if i throw a ps3 in some water it will splode on meh....
But a ps3 is a ps3 and a N64 is a N64 u_u breaking consoles only make PC gaming better
