i connected two modems to my pc and it defiently works, using this guide
    http://forums.fibercoax.net/showthre...8&page=1&pp=10
    and the program wingate

i used download accelerator and was able to get over 1mb/sec using both modems, and when i do control alt delete i can see both graphs running under the network thing. i dont know how to get this setup with any bittorent progs tho!!

i know the proxy address server thing is 127.0.0.1 and the port is 1111, where do i put this into?

the bittorent prog i want to use is bittornado, but if any of you can tell me how to do it with azureus i'd greatly appreciate it!

under the advanced settings of bittornado, it gives the option "IP to bind to: _____" and the field is blank. it says "The IP the client will bind to. Only useful if your machine is directly handling multiple IPs. If you don't know what that is, leave it blank."
this may be what i should use it with, but i dont think it makes both modems worth.

all help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

why use all those fancy apps? why not just connect the 2 modems and then go to my network places, under the devices section, select both modems(connections) and right click and press "bridge" I thought that's what it was for?

    good luck

if this works for u i want my $10

the bridge option is for giving other people that your somehow connected to, internet. i'd test your idea but right now my ma is in her office usin the modem and i cant have mine plugged in at the same time because we have the same MAC addresses. thanks for the idea tho, and if it works you'll get the money

I think you would be better off asking in a PC tech forum.
<FreeFrag> The most secure computer in the world is one not connected to the internet.
<FreeFrag> Thats why I recommend Telstra ADSL.

well i found out that wingate has a firewall built in so i turned that off and i am now closer to getting it to work. i think the issue now is configuring wingate to work with certain ports, and probibally no one can help here unless they have experience with wingate or this kind of a setup, or just know networking really well. thanks for all the replies so far. i know its definetly possible because people on fibercoax can get it to work, but their forum is kind of dead and not many people reply to it.. anyways, i'll post the solution up here if i ever figure it out, so some of you may be able to give it a try
