wow, that actually sounds like it could really work, utilizes the broadband connection better...wonder why the people at mozilla didn't do this in the first place
I'll post again when/if i try it :p

whats firefox
whooo!!!!!!! I just did some digging around and found a hack that does the same thing for IE! it's pretty sweet, what it does is instead of IE only requesting 1 or 2 things at once, it requests 6, which works awesome if your connection can handle it! my internet is blazing now, I'm surprised I hadn't heard bout it before :D
so for anyone with Internet Explorer, and a FAST connection, DL the attatched File, and right click on it and hit merge it's a reg file (nothing bad in it i promise)
Thnks to staple from IRC for the help :)

works for mozilla aswell, since firefox is based on mozilla
From the site
1.Type ?about:config? into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:
network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set ?network.http.pipelining? to ?true?
Set ?network.http.proxy.pipelining? to ?true?
Set ?network.http.pipelining.maxrequests? to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it ?nglayout.initialpaint.delay? and set its value to ?0?. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.
If you?re using a broadband connection you?ll load pages MUCH faster now!
