It may seem like an 'insult' if you didnt have a clue of who djflexmaster79 was, but its clearly stated he is a Moderator. His comment didnt seem insulting to me, he was commenting on PuppetMaster's comment that sounded like a comment a moderator would say to a new member and he isnt one. Staff members are chosen carefully and regular members are not to disrespect them publicly.Quote:

The main role of a forum moderator is to clean a forum and that's it. He/she does not own the entire forum. Here's my analogy: a moderator is like a janitor. As a janitor, my job is to clean and get rid of dirt that were left by students in my school's bathrooms. As a moderator, my job is to clean and get rid of dirt (deleting, removing, etc.) that were left by users on a forum. Moderators can give users infractions directly, whereas janitors can report to thier headmasters to tell off the students indirectly.Quote:

I can give you an infraction, move your post and create a new thread with it (as i've done here), i can edit your posts, delete them and i can ban you from posting, and much more.
