we all do want psn dude but the only way is to update to your PS3 to latest Firmware we are all like you stuck on 3.41/3.55 CFW without PSN

I agree. If you want to go online, trade your 3.41/3.55 PS3 for a 3.66 PS3, and possibly some extra cash in your pocket.

If you need PSN that bad do the following :
1) Download 3.66(or whatever OFW is)
2) Put 3.66 FW on your USB memory stick in PS3 -> UPDATE -> PS3UPDAT.PUP
3) Insert USB memory stick into PS3
4) Turn on your PS3
5) Go to system update
6) Choose update from storage device.
7) Pick 3.66 FW and update to that FW.
8) reboot
9) ???
10) profit

Yes that means the only way to get PSN is to go to OFW. I have no idea why you are even posting this thread. It's not like someone is gonna come along and say "wow this guy/girl is really bored with his PS3, maybe I should get PSN working for him on JB PS3's."

If you need/want psn that must mean you have games to play Online so you must not be a complete pirate so why not just update?

Or did you make this topic in hopes someone will reveal/find/Discover/troll/enlighten/help you get on psn with your Backups

Best Solutions:

Buy another ps3 if your backing up your games

Or wait until a solution arises if your Getting your games from the interwebz

And lastly if you REALLY cant wait Update your current ps3 and Lurk until the best solution arises for cfw and psn (Most illegal solution though)

I have 2 ps3's one for backups and one for online. It's the only way right now and there is nothing I can do about it, cause I'm not smart enough to find the keys for 3.56+. It's the best solution right now though. It kinda sucks that Sony actually is benefiting from no psn on cfw. I know alot of online gamers that still want to backup there games doing this.

In the op's defense, I think he just wanted to vent, that's why he posted this thread in the off topic section, and not online gaming section.

SECOND i am a noob but not that much i know that there is no way to login psn without OFW cant do it with CFW i mean but just sayin that iam bored thats it !!!! cuz its have been too looooooong since i last logged in psn but i know that if i updated i will regret thats y iam waitin and thats y iam bored

that why some ppl have a backup another PS3 is for PSN and another one for Playing games off hdd .
