the city of richardson, Tx is the worst city ever
about 1 year ago i got a ticket for speeding and i did differed judication to have it not go on my record
well they put it in the computer wrong and it did go on my record and will now cost me $6000 in the next 3 years
becuase there suck i have to pay that
i called them and they refuse to fix it


well tongiht i got pulled over again
but i was in garland at the time not in richardson
the cop lied and put an address that was in richardson and said "i have a habbit of speeding in richardson and this might help me break that"
so once again something that is should not be on my record in the first place is costing me more money
it is no use going to court to get it dismissed in richardson becuase i read that 50% of the cities money comes from fines and the courts only dismiss 3% of all cases

i know i was speeding
also in richardson
it goes from 45 in garland to 30-35 in richardson
they act like the whole city is a school zone
they also tried to lower the high way speed to 45
and they will literaly pull you over for 1mph over the limit
and all their fines are like 30% higher then any city around
and there rules on how dark windows tinting can beis alot different then any other city around

ours are like $120 AUD for upto 15km/h over, and $250 for more than 15km/h over, and $380 and possible loss of license for 30km/h over.

BTW divide by 1.6 to get miles/h...

Our state just past a stupid law that made all suburbs 50Km/h zones (31.25M/h) and only 60km/h on main roads.

our school zones are 25km/h (15.6 M/h) and always have been - but that is acceptable - good reason for it!

For your problem, i'm guessing you had to go to court? I'm sure they take written records of the events that took place during that session even if it IS for a traffic violation. You could do something using that. It's what our family has to do because a relative of mine got f*cked by a racist judge in texas. He got sentenced to 3 years in prison b/c he's a Muslim... what REALLY blows is that the relative was innocent of the crime he was charged for. His employee was the one that blew up the business while the guy was here in toronto... GOD I HATE what the world has come to. Just gotta wait a year or so till the next court date where we get to take legal action against the racist ass of a judge

Emad, thats complete slander and speculation. You have absolutely no way to prove a judge is a racist and even if he was it is a judges job to put his or her own feelings aside in order to carry out the law of Texas and the Unted States. Maybe the judge is very harsh, or maybe your friend deserved it, but you dont call someone racist just because you disagree with the sentence handed down by him. This country gives the most amount of rights to people who arent even from here than n e other country. Think of the type of trail I would get in what ever country you are from. Id probably be taken out and shot, who cares if Im guilty or not, doesnt matter if Im dead, thats the mentality of the 3rd world, here it is not, nor any western country. Plus you cant take legal action against a judge because of his rulings, but if your friend feels that the justice system hasnt served him justly, then there is a thing called an appeal, in which you can fight the ruling, and seek retribution for any injustices. But unless you have reason to say someone is racist, you can not clal him so. It is not racist to sentence someone for a crime , no matter what race the person is. Really I think its racism on your part to suggest that his descision was based on the defendant beeing muslim rather than based on the facts of the case, they facts of the case may be what the problem are, maybe they dont show what really happened in what ever the case was about. Its easy to just scream "racism" anytime someone does soemthing you dont like, cuz it gets alot of peoples attention.

As far as the $6000 thing, I would assume thats from your insurance prices going up? But ya you wont get pulled over for speeding if you just dont speed. Cities and states have been getting alot more anal with the giving out of tickets as just about all states have massive budget problems and need to raise more funds.

i got a speeding ticket in richardson once..
i still had my CA driivers license then, so they charged me $80 or something and took it off my record. fortunately, i havent gotten a ticket since so i wouldnt really know. i also dont pay for my own insurance so that wouldnt help either..
just so you know, something like 5 out of the top 10 worst intersections in the US are in Texas, and 2 out of the top 5 are right there around Dallas (heard that on the radio a few years ago). Something about Texas driver and their goddamn trucks makes em think they can drive like crap..
