it was so overrated when it was coming to canada. people were saying the destruction was gonna be like the US but all we had was heavy rain and some trees fell down. No major flooding either...

had to throw that one in there...Anyways though, I live in West Virginia very close to coast, and we suppose to have a shit load of rain (worst rain in like 20 years or something they were saying) which didn't happen. It was supposed to rain for like 2 days straight, and all it rained for was like 6 hours altogether. Weather channel don't know what the hell there doing...

I feel sorry when people get hit with a "natural" disaster, for the future there can be a technology that can basically stop systems like hurricanes forming, and today's tricks for farmers there is another technique that can create clouds for rain. (Yep, if we do not do it, nothing else will... but sometimes technology can have the disadvantage of hurting our health!; it make you wonder how "natural" or "unnatural" truly things are at the end of some thoughts!)...

Natural is more of an idea than anything...When you think of natural you think of nature, and stuff like:

Plants, fruits, trees, farming, etc

BUT farming isn't really natural either if you look at it...They use chemicals and pesticides which aren't in nature.

Anymore, I don't look at anything be natural or unnatural because there really isn't much that is natural (even down to water that you drink)...So, I just accept almost anything as long as it isn't going to kill me right off the bat

Stop hurricanes? Well I think its rather niave to think that the power of man will EVER be ablt to even touch the massive power of mother nature. Nature is more powerfull than man could ever fathom of becoming. Sucks when shit happens, but its the cost we pay of living on this earth. Also prim, farmings getting less natural, but its not natural to have 6 billion humans on earth, got to have an unatural way to support an unatural population. Especially since like in the US prewar we had upwards of 75% of people farming, now its less than 2%.
