how to change user name?

How do I change my user name? I have searched the site and emailed administrators to no avail. I would like to retain access to the site because it is very helpful and interesting, but I don't want my full name in public view.

Admins can change your nick. Just ask extra nicely...

It won't let me register again. I don't even know how to cancel my user name, it looks like it's there forever. Ha, what a bummer. I guess I learned the hard way. How do I contact admins? My emails keep getting returned. I am hoping one of them sees this posting and answers me.

Have you tried sending them a PM instead of an e-mail? I'm sure one of the admins will notice this. Hang in there Laurie!

lol, hope it works out for you, to reregister you need to clear you cookies, close, then reopen Internet explorer and register, good luck!

If thetieger's suggestion don't work, it may be, because your using the same e-mail, try a different e-mail while registering. Best of luck to ya.

lol, it's funny that you assume I am a "him" even with my name spelled out completely. Why is that, I wonder. No offense, but females enjoy PS games too. I play them with my son. I even backup games and movies. (impressive eh?) But I am not experienced with this forum stuff - What is a PM? This site is so well designed yet why can't I change my name myself? That's me - always trying to do something weird. There must be a reason I can't, I guess. Deleting all my cookies would be a last resort. Please help Admin!!! Thank you.

Okay, under a members post, you will find a few buttons. Find an admin's post and click on

, it will send you to a page where you can send another member, or in this case, an admin, a PM (Private Message). If you find that difficult you could click on the

button and then click "Send (insert) a private message". Hopefully this works out for you. I been making forums for a while, so I thought I would help you out.
