How to bypass download blocking on certain file types....
How to bypass download blocking on certain file types.... –

On my universities network, there are only a handful of extensions allowed.. e.g. html, doc, rar, jpg, etc... the rest are blocked. e.g. bin, cue, iso, nrg, ace, 7z, etc....
So, does anybody know how can I download a file with a blocked extension ??
One way I found to do this was to use proxies with encrypted URLs,...so that the server doesnt see any blockable extension in the URL....but since I am going through a proxy, the download speed is vvvvvverrryy slow.....like 3 KB/s wacko.gif
Is there any other more efficient way ??

if you can download .rar you should be set, what EVER comes in bin/cue/iso format, without being RAR'd up?!?

oh...i didnt mean that i am trying to download torrents dudes.....this iso is legal, and is available on the normal port 80 HTTP...so the port is not a problem...the problem is that there is some kind of a 'keyword filter' in the server's firewall, which is blocking out the *.iso extension......like i said, i can dodge this by coming through an encrypted proxy, but that slows down the speed.....
so basically, i am looking for a way to download this file using encrypted URLs, but also maintaining a decent, if not a good speed, at the same time...
