    Hey,
I had these headphones which worked perfectly, which i wanted to expand the cable of so i could hook it up straight from the comp, so i cut thru half way through the cord, then added some 16awg wire and put the wires in a twist, touching each other pefectly, then i tested and it didn't work, so i just put it back together as it was, didn't work either, what's the prob?
there is continuity from the plug to the wire itself.
    Thanks.
