HELP...Counter-Strike freezes!

I need help from a Counter-Strike Wiz...I haven't played the game in months, but when I Tried to play it recently it would freeze at this screen while trying to connect to a server!

OS: Windows XP

Version: Counter-strike 1.6 standalone..made by steam..

EDIT: I just reinstalled everything and now the screen turns white when I start counter-strike

lol too late I spammed like a mofo... I fixed the white screen problem...but apparently there is no real fix for my loading security module problem a lot of people have it

I own u at CS

it sposed to load a security module, if u means it freezes at that point then I dont know - maybe u downloaded what you shouldn't have -_-

no! I do not cheat... STEAM IS SUCH GARBAGE..i got it working on this box I have that has a fresh install...but even then after each game i would get disconnected and have to reboot to get it going again...GARBAGE!
