haha, yeah right. Having 2 turkey carcasses, with gravy and potatoes, hell ya. The good thing about Thanksgiving, is that it is the only uncorrupted holiday left. Just think about it, lets go over the holidays:

Valentines Day: Made to sell roses, cards, ect.. and to make me depressed.
St. Patricks Day: Made to sell beer (how many of us are Irish? or even Catholic!)
Easter: Sells Eggs, chocolate bunnies, I think it has to do with some guy, Jaime? Jesse? Something like that.
Independence Day: My favorite holiday, but its used to sell Hot Dogs and BBQs.
Holloween: Made to sell Candy, and to get business for dentists.
Christmas: The most corrupted Holiday ever. People refer to chrismas as if it wasnt a religous event at all. While I think an athiest chrismas is fine, as I think the true meaning of christmas is family, bonding, giving, brotherhood and all the good stuff, people today try to wash it of any religion. Was jesus born on this day? NO, but we pretend he was and thats what were celebrating. Notice how the symbols of christmas are red bows, Santa Claus, holly, ect ect, very rarely Jesus. Santa is a scam, Santa is a tool used to take religion out of Christmas, its very convienient, Companies can use Santa to pump up the season without getting into religion ect. I renounce Santa Claus as part of the Christmas tradition, it really has nothing to do with Jesus, and it doesnt even have anything to do with giving to other, brotherhood, compation, ect. Santa is only about receiving, which is why companies love to use it, as while they dont want to get into religous politics, businesses are absolutely dependant on people spending huge amounts of money durring december, without the boom, theyd be pretty ****ed.
Christmas is about 2 things, you can have one, or both, either its about Jesus and family/giving, or just about family/giving, jesus isnt really nessesary for Christmas, but Santa has nothing to do with any of these, its pure American Consumerism.
New Years: Meant to sell Hams and Champagne, and to give out about 1 billion DUI tickets.

Thanks giving is pure, just about getting all the family in one place, and sharing a meal, no presents, nada, just a good meal. This holiday is truely the only actual holiday we have that is part of our heritage and American Culture, that our modern culture hasnt completely destroyed.

    Happy Thanks Giving!

Ahhh, the Thanksgiving traffic jam, airport delays, etc. The busiest travel day in the US - the day before Thanksgiving. And then a day of rest, good food and Thanksgiving day football on TV.

Wow, Necro is the only person I know who I actually agree with about holidays! The people who run this country (as well as certain others) have sucked these holidays BONE DRY! Well...More like they've sucked the money right out of peoples pockets!
I find it humorous how some people say religion is full of BS (not just the bible, but also the beleif in a god), but yet they beleive other BS society has told them. Christmas is Jesus' birthday, so that means you have to buy people expensive ass presents, in which you can't afford to make these people happy. Well, make rich people happy is a lot more like it, and stimulate the economy for THEM.
And everybody seems fine with this. They pass it on from generation to generation. Giving is a wonderful thing IMO, and you should feel good to give to others besides yourself (even though I don't think most people are like that anymore), but they've taken it, and turned it in to a money making scheme. Children grow up to not appreciate anything because they've been spoiled. Christmas doesn't equal JESUS, but equals PRESENTS.
It's much like how racism is passed on, and somewhere cycles have to end. it never will though, only grow stronger until whenever people cease to exist, or the end of the world. If I could give anything to the world it'd be LOGIC. Not to make people beleive in my opinions, or even care about my opinions, but the ability to be able to think for themselves. To sit down, and wonder "Now, what am I doing?"

    As they say in Philosophy
"Equally rational agents, given the same information, will come about the same conclusion", which means you dont need to tell people what to think, just act rationally, and seek out the information, they should come about similar conclusions about everything in the world. But the problem is, most people do not like to think rationally, and most people are bliss in ignorance and dont seek to find out which they currently do not know.
