128 Mb DDR? My 64 MB DDR Geforce 4 MX runs most N64 stuff fine. All Geforce 4's will, its not a question of the video card with high end cards like Radeon's and Geforce 4's, its a question of the emulator software. Most still run kinda glitchy, so don't count on a N64 quality emulator quite yet.

yeah it'll play n64 emulation, i have an ancient GeForce 2 and it plays smooth

postal 2 & doom 3 should have no problem as well

check the system requirements, aim for a bit lower than the reccomended

You should love it. Nvidia really makes the best cards. Poo-poo for Ati. ATi also has the most buggy drivers that I have ever encountered.
The Yellow PS2 auto-boots all. PS2, PS1 stealth and DVD movies.

Just a few thoughts to consider if performance is your main conern. Considering the power of nearly all vid cards released in the last year, you should be more concerned with your main system components--CPU and RAM. Remember, you are talking about an "emulator"--ie: software that pretends to run as hardware. While many EMU's can take advantage of some hardware capabilities of your vid and sound cards, the bulk of the processes are still run in software as opposed to the console's hardware. The faster memory, the better. Same goes for the processor. With AMD's, it really pays off if you can drop the clock multiplier, then bump up the Front Side Bus a bit--1595 at 145 FSB X 11 is MUCH faster then 1596 at 133 X 12 (this ramps up the speeds of your memory, AGP, and PCI busses). You could save a bit on the GF4 4600 by going with a GF4 4200 128MB (you can tweak it to run near 4600 default speed with RivaTuner or Atuner-- www.guru3d.com ) and use the leftover cash towards memory if you're on the low end. 512MB is the cutoff for major performance boosters, but it does give considerable improvement over 256 on Win98 or newer OS. CAS2 chips are best, but a bit pricey--and not REALLY needed unless you're a real speed freak or plan to go over 150 FSB.

    Good Luck!

    Raist
