a good movie editing program?

I want to be able to make my own movies, but I need a good movie editing program.

any suggestions?

I will obviously be making them on DVD. so It'll need to be able to make menus and such too

Arrrrrrr, the best thing ye can get for movie editing is an Apple Computer! It comes with it all built right in, so it does.

Well, for the PC, I think a decent one is Adobe Premeire. It can be DLed if you know where.

Some decent competitors are Cyberlink's PowerDirector.

But Cpt is right. If you can get a Mac cheap, go for Final Cut Pro.

We got our Mac G4 graphite for $450 at an auction. Then I got a dual G4 upgrade CPU daughterboard for $700. And dual G4 500s go for around $1500, so I got a good deal.

spruceup DVD is the way to go! its great, ive made a bunch of dvds with it and they work great! (mind you the dont look great.... because i cant draw worth shit

)
