Getting to know the people of PS2scene.org

Hi Guys and Gals! I think it would be much fun if we know each other here. Let me start first. Well, I'm 25 years old living in Manila. My work is into IT, basically dealing with IT infrastructure and security. I've been a "gamer" since I was 7 years old. My first console was Coleco Vision then Nintendo Family Computer or the NES in the US, then Playstation and now a PS2 SCPH30006 R modded with a DVD-IC chip. My favorite games are mostly RPGs, I'm also into sports and fighting games sometimes, specially SF3 Third Strike. :)

Great Idea myfriend, but this has been started many different times.

I'm new here, just came from xbox-scene ((even though I'm somewhat new there as well)) I've noticed alot of xbox-scene people migrating over here. I have a 1.3/1.4 xbox softmodded with UDE and WD 120GB hard drive. I planned on modding my PS2 ages ago...but after reading up on it I realized I couldn't because I did not know anyone that could install a chip for me, and I myself do not have steady enough hands for the job. After the Hard drive has been introduced, this opens softmod-like opporitunities, so I thought I'd look up information, and looks like I was correct :) Can't wait to become part of this community! I'll bet the PS2 modding scene grows much larger as people realize the new potential. I'm living proof ;)

im 18 and in 2nd year university (engineering) ...

im not a big gamer, rarely play xbox or ps2 .. i just like collecting and burning games for a collection .. kinda like some ppl collect stamps :)
