I got a peek at the ad for a major retail chain that goes into effect a week from Sunday and they are advertising the GameCube at $99! One wonders if the other consolses will follow suit with price drops.

actually you're getting mixed up with american and canadian currency. at $99 the gamecube will be the SAME price as the gba sp. The normal GBA however is cheaper.
