Gamecube, finally cracked :)
Gamecube, finally cracked :) –
The GC development scene is about to go full steam ahead with the release of Animal Crossing Loader 1.1
This loader basically lets you stream GameCube ISOs from your PC to your Cube using the BroadBand Adapter and the Phantasy Star Online exploit. No need for modchips or external hardware.
I have decided to host the file on my site. It is designed for dev usage rather than warez. If this post contravenes any rules, please feel free to delete.
A review will be posted shortly and perhaps a compatibility chart as well.
The file can be found in this post.
well other then the blatent spam, and you have to register to get the file...and it may be warez...
anywho this is very cool, how much is the online adapter and can all the iso's do this or just a few?
V7- Messiah2 modded, my baby
V1.0 Xecuter 2.0 Pro '
hmmm - I guess it would be blatant spam, if I actually made any money off running Console Paradise. I prefer to call it News as this place isn't called GCNewz
You are right though, as it is very cool. We are testing ISO's as I type... Will have some results soon.
Well it's not really SPAM as i don't see the news already posted. Since Snoop is hosting the file on his server, I don't think it's too much to ask you to register, after all it only takes minutes to access something which developers have worked months on ;-)

Anyways in response to your question thetieger, you need the BBA AND PSO to use the loader and it does not work with all releases, 4 or 5. Memory cards also don't work but it is not designed for this anyway. The main purpose is to allow larger files for homebrew applications.
But so far this only supports a few games, right?
yup, only a few... It has the names of the games in the nfo
yes it is spam you are taking a file from someone elses website and putting it on your forum then forcing people to sign up to download it. You are just trying to get your forum going but you can get a succesful forum in another ways instead of spam i refuse to sign up for your forum i will just find it somewhere else. someone post a direct download link for it when they find it so people dont fall for this guys little sign up trick.
dangit man Snoop is well respected here and he has an awesome fourm! He is paying out of his own pocket the money to keep that site up and not making a singe cent out of it so people like you and me can find files easier and dont have to wait in line for downloads (unlike gamespy downloads) it isnt that hard to spend 5 mins to sign up jus like it wasent hard to spend 5 mins to signup for ps2newz.net
Another release by paradox...
:: GC Disc Server v1.2 beta - ParadoX ::
Firstly id just like to thank Aftermath and Parasyte of Eurasia for the
original Animal Crossing Loader, this program is built using the protocols
created for that program and includes the exact same gamecube dol file
from the 'Animal_Crossing_Loader_1.2_BETA_GCN-PARADOX' release.
Also thanks to Titanik whose psul tool is used to load the Animal Crossing
Loader v1.2 dol file to the gamecube.
:: So What is this release then?
This release is as the title states, a 'GameCube Disc Server' tool.
It utilises the protocols originally created for the the Animal Crossing
Loader and also uses the gamecube dol file from it. This server tool is not a
standalone release. It actually stores the above mentioned dol file and psul
tool inside it so that it can 'create' a copy of them to use at runtime,
thereby making sure the correct file versions are in the right place
to use this server.
This server tool provides emulated access to a gamecube disc in a couple
of different ways.
From a gamecube image (as the original Animal Crossing Loader tool does)
From a cd/dvd in your computer's cd/dvd drive.
Cds and Dvd can be accessed using either Aspi or Spti.
Spti is only available on windows nt/2k/xp systems and comes built in
as part of the operating system.
Aspi is available as part of the windows 95/98/me systems, but can be
installed onto windows nt/2k/xp systems also.
And oh yeah
:: Burning a Game to Cd or Dvd
To burn a gamecube game to a cd or dvd in order to play it with
this loader, burn the gcm/iso file as follows:
Data Mode 1
2048 bytes per sector
Do NOT burn the gamecube image file onto the disc as a file itself,
burn it direct to disc.
To burn with 'Nero' select 'Burn Image', 'Block Size' of 2048 bytes,
no 'Image Header' or 'Footer'. Dont tick 'Scrambled', 'Swapped'
or 'Raw Data'.
