No-one is forcing you to join up. Do a search on google for the file or visit emulation64, as they now have some mirrors up.

post the link on a site wich we can actaully download it off, not have to "sign up" to download someone elses file! i personally think that is unfair and beleve you are stupid to post a link to your private password protected webpage which people can get from otherwhere...

maybe that would be fairer than simply directing users to your website and spamming this forum requesting people to "sign up" to another rival forum

all i see is "this forum requires you to sign up to access this page"

i think when the webmasters ask you to provide a mirror, the same freely available file will be able to be accessed in the same way on your site. ie.. not making users sign up.. and if you tell users to go somewhere else to download it, then why did you post this post in the first place?

My initial post was an EXACT quote from emulation64.com and a link to the vid hosted on Console Paradise, just as the webmasters of emu64 wanted.

CP.com required registration long before this vid came out. Why the f*ck should I change it?

Hypersonic, I don't know why you continue to argue, lemme break it down for you:

- Snoop posted an article which he thought would be of interest to members

- All the information was in the original post. You only need to follow the link IF YOU WANTED to see the video

- Because the file is hosted on his forums and the forum doesn't have guest access, you need to register.

Simple, now to explain why he didn't link to the original source. They asked him not to!, therfore he hosted on his own server which HE PAYS money for. You pay nothing. I'm sure you wouldn't want to fit the traffic bills for GB's of videos after everyone starts linking to his open link. Hell you don't even want to spend 5 minutes to register with something that is free.

It's not that hard to understand really. I agree with Sanj too, even Zima would own you. Now please close this thread.

linking to www.emu64 is considered to be quite acceptable..

i feel that posting a link to a movie on a password protected page is wrong. thankyou for 'mirroring' the file, but maybe if people could actaully access it without registering to your forum, which is totally unrelated.

i had to go digging for somewhere else to get it, probably sounds like i'm bitching, but it's sucks when you have to "reigster" for something just to get a small file which you can get off other sources, whiuch you failed to mention (i didn't not realise this at the time)

sephiroth, how is me defending my oppionion one time only "continueing to argue" ?

[edit:snoop, using a forum and download a file off a mirror are two totally unrelated things... they should stay that way]

I sort of agree with both of you..On one hand (hypersonic) it's bullshit that you'd even bother registering to watch a video when you can get it for free at another source...BUT if you wanna make people register to see it then by all means go ahead.
and on Snoop's side...He can do whatever he wants since it's his site, and they said to go ahead and post it on others (didn't give any instructions on how you have to post it though).

So, this is a stupid argument. IF you people want to see the video and don't mind registering goto Snoop's site...If you absolutely don't want to register then goto the main site...
