    the heat pad need's to sit squarely on the ic to work sufficently.

    does that means i can reapply the heat pad onto the ic??cos the heat pad is in molten form so is it advisble to repply it??

    if the heat pad is molten, i'm guessing it's gone bad? if so, just make sure u got some thermal paste to replace the heat pad. i use Arctic Silver Ceramique on my pc components. seems to work great...@ least for my current desktop pc wich has terrible internal cooling at the moment
