erm....last time i checked this is a ps3 jailbreaking site, not a HELP ME FIND THE JOB OF MY DREAMS SITE....but anyway, since you asked, See there are two ways to do this:-
1.)Join a big gaming company, all of them have a testing group, you know, EA, activision, rockstar etc.
2.)Play games all day, Win WCG...become one the top gamers of the world and the company will call you to test their game just to make sure their testers didn't screw up and to find out what kind of changes the public want to see. Like how ED BOON called the top MK players of the world to test the controlling and feel of the new MK game.

Here are Some links to help you get going:-

And also watch the PSN SERIES.."THE TESTER", its about the job of a game tester.

Everyone who likes video games will have said at one point in their life that they want to be a tester and how it's a dream job.

It's not, it's tedious work, sure you get to play new games, but you have to write up test reports on these games, you have to fill out large forms detailing what bug you found and how you found it. You will end up testing the same part of the game over and over until you finally get bored of it and it becomes dull.

I know this from experience at a small games company not far from me.

There is a difference between QA testing and testing for magazines.

Imo it's great to test for magazines and websites (which is the easiest way to get started), if you like to write about the game - no matter if you liked it or not (and you will be getting a lot of games that will bore you).
Of course your style of writing needs fit.
