How weird... me too, for about a week now. Left eye as well!

I think relaxing your eyes would help. That means take breaks from your computer monitor\TV.

I would ask a doctor, but I wouldn't be worried about it.

I am nearsighted and one eye is weaker than the other and sometimes my weak eye starts watering and twitching. It might be a sign you need glasses. Or, if you already have glasses, you may need a stronger pair. But that does sound like a doctor situation to me.

I'm not sure about the glasses/ your site/ etc, but the most common problem for your eye twitching is being TIRED. I'd get a good nights rest, and see if it bothers you the next day. Mine does it quite often whenever I'm tired, and I wear glasses.
Could possibly be something to do with your vision though...If your straining your eyes to much, but try the rest part first.
