Smell like major scam to you?
    It does to me.

Looks like the user is legit but the account has been hijacked.
The legitimate looking stuff is based in the UK.

The guy sounds like a robot, so that's not a good sign. It's probably hijacked, I had a guy bid on my laptop with a hijacked account; imagine my surprise when I found out I wasn't getting paid that day.

Its certainly made me think twice about using ebay.
So much for the feedback system.
And I just bought a $400 LCD screen from another person on ebay.
I think that guy is legit though.

Yeah, you just have to keep a closer eye. I've gotten a ton of great deals from ebay.

    I guess I was right.
Ebay removed the listing and the legit Uk listings remain.
Over 400 listings were removed under this one name.
It was obviously an account hijacking as the sellers account is still active.
Just the garbage listings were removed.

I was just talking with the real seller and he said he was indeed hacked and the guy wiped out all of his sales so he can't contact his buyers.
I get emails all the time pretending to be ebay looking for passwords so even if I think its legit I won't give my password anywhere but on ebays website.

They're a tricky bunch of people. I refuse to even follow a link to ebay or Paypal because it might lead to a false website where my passwords can be stolen.
