    I downloaded the DVD Rip of Minority Report. The video works ok but the audio does't. How can i fix it?

    It doesn't work at all. Windows Media Player says I need to donwload a codec, but it doesn't say which one.

    ahhh... look at the summary of the file properties and check what the audio is encoded in. U might not have the codec installed as windows mp says. Lemme know how u go,

    the only thing i can think of, besides going through the hassle of reencoding the audio, is to chuck all the codecs onto u'r system, and hopefully one of the codecs will correct the problem. get codecs from

    You don't really need to re-encode it. Download GSpot , this will tell you what audio codec is used and if it is installed on your system (unlikely by what you are saying ) Then simply search google for the codec by name or it's FourCC and install it for audio goodness
