dual boot and modem problem

I install 98se and xp on my system...

somehow my modem works in 98se which it originally came with..but it doesn't work in xp....

I'm not sure if it was the driver or what...I disable my modem in xp because with it turn "on" 98se won't work anymore too...so i'm not sure to do next..

anyone counter this problem before.....

ohh yeah....when installing a new video card.???

-do i remove the driver for the first one?

give me some tips...

Try a generic driver...
...for the video card, no need to remove drivers, when switching my S3 Trio3d/2x 8MB AGP with S3 Savage 4 16MB AGP i didn't need to remove drivers i just installed the ones on windows/my pc.

since i can't get it too work i downloaded the xp driver for my hp modem....

it work but still had problem so i just use my internet while on 98 os.....
