Arrrrrrrr, I believe anything that is 25 yrs or older becomes public domain unless the rights are re-purchased. That's how Whack-o Jack-o bought yon rights to yon Beatles songs right out from under Paul McCarney's nose! He litterally outbid Paul on them, so he did.
