One thing that pisses me off about these anti-drug/smoking propaganda campaigns is they stretch the truth, or they leave some of it out. I always watch closely the Anti-Marijuana ones especially. I am a former pot-head and I know what the **** it does etc etc. But, these commercials spout off some shit about a guy visiting his brothers grave and the fact that his brother was killed in his car while he was driving. (Okay sounds reasonable) But then is goes on to say "That many of these fatalaties found marijuana in the system of the "Guilty" party" They didnt come out and directly say "He was under the influence of Marijuana when his brother was killed" (Because chances are he wasnt and if he was I seriously doubt that was the culprit) But this puts in peoples minds "Oh shit, hes a pothead and hes out killing people with his vehicle" Bullshit.
I am in no way condoning using ANY substance (legal or not) when you are behind the wheel. But lets get the facts straight here people. If you want to spread the so called "Truth" then ****ing give us the whole truth assholes.
The only accident I have seen of someone under the influence of someone who was stoned, was hitting their garage door at 5 MPH because they forgot to open it.
