Do you prefer the look of the slim PS3 or the phat PS3?

I like the look of the phat ones alot. But I prefer the slim PS3 because they have overall better fans ect, although there blu ray drive is cheaper...

I prefer the 60 and 20gb Phat look. The 60gb has 2 chrome trims, instead of a matte silver trim on the top and a black trim on the bottom. The 20gb is completely black (except the Playstation 3 logo).
I still prefer the Phat look than the slims, as the Phat has glossy finish, touch-sensitive buttons.

Pereb27, it's funny. I have the exact opposite opinion. I prefer the slim's look. I also prefer the fats without the silver part (think it looks cheap). Don't like the touch sensitive buttons either. They are a pain in the ass when you need to hold down on them to switch off. Oh well, that's what's great about the world. Different strokes for different folks.

I prefer the phat because that is what I have at the moment.

The slim looks pretty nice though, I just don't have any experience with it.

I prefer my big phat phatty (she's such a naughty nanny). I like its beefier look and how 'Playstation 3' is written across the system instead of the 'PS3' of the slim. That and the door for my MSduo and what not.

Well, the FAT buttons are more comfortable to use than the Slim ones when the consoles are standing vertically.
Also, You say you prefer the fats without the matte silver part, but that's my case too (as I said before, I prefer the BC fats with chrome trim instead of matte silver... or the 20gb's black trim

I like my Japanese manufactured Phat (60GB of course) when production went to China everything went to sh*t

Same here, do not really care how it looks, just as long as it works, and is not very noisy.
