I'm getting ready to get into the Xbox scene and start modding Xbox. As I was reading at the Xbox-Scene I ran into this statement:

    http://img54.exs.cx/img54/4694/areyouserious.gif

Quite shocking when I find the guy has nearly 10,000 post and he probably helped and modded plenty of Xbox.

Are Xbox'ers really that bad at soldering or does the Xbox have a g-spot I just don't know about?

It is mainly, I think, the d0 point, which can be tough, but is really no worse than any via on a ps2. The ps2's are muchharder to mod, but the only thing that makes the xbox a little worse is the programming and flashing of everything, where as the ps2, once you get a chip in, either works or doesn't most of the time.

I have a modded xbox I am working on right now, a version 1.0, that just all the sudden seems to have forgotten that it has been modded, won't go to the evox dash. Haven't taken it apart yet, but still bothers me, since I know the points can't of come loose on the chip.

One thing to think about is that with all the decent solderless mods out there, the profit on doing xbox work doesn't seem to be as good as the ps2's, imho.

Good luck, and take the plunge, they are not too bad.

Almost 10000 posts and he went to 2 cities to get his xbox modded ? What posts were those then ? It's a joke, and anyone saying the xbox is hard to mod must be joking. Some easy soldering points and nothing can go wrong, what's the problem with Xbox then ?

    regards, Stephen

X-Box is easier than a cheap hispanic hooker.

I don't have trouble soldering the Xbox's points. I was just surprise with his comment.
